Tresia is the founder and executive chef of Tresia’s Catering, a Queens-based catering company specializing in chef-led food experiences for corporate, nonprofit, and community-based organizations across New York City.
Her work blends Southern comfort with global influence, delivering thoughtful, culturally rooted menus for office events, trainings, networking functions, donor gatherings, and mission-driven programs where food plays a role in bringing people together.

Tresia currently serves as the official caterer for WIBO’s networking functions and mixers, supporting programs that empower small business owners and entrepreneurs from underserved communities.
She has also partnered with Astoria Food Pantry, donating and preparing 35 Thanksgiving dinners for local families, and has catered events at Culture Lab LIC for nonprofit and cultural organizations.

Meet Tresia
Food, family, and making memories propels Tresia in all that she does. Tresia has been a lover of food for her entire life, and by age 12, she was cooking large family meals for her extended family. As her mother never really enjoyed preparing food, as soon as Tresia was able, you could find her in the kitchen cutting, chopping, searing, and roasting for all of her little brothers and for all of the big holiday meals. She remembers that once she started cooking, her mom never stepped into the kitchen again!

After fulfilling her dream of attending culinary school in 2010, Tresia has been cooking in both restaurant and commercial kitchens ever since. She has had the pleasure of catering wedding rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, barbecues, anniversary parties, and more! Through her work, Tresia has found that food is a universal connector. It doesn’t matter the size of an event, the age of the people there, or their ethnicity - it is easy to come together and bond people over food. Food makes people extremely happy, and it brings Tresia joy to be able to do that through her catering services, meal prep services, and cooking classes.
